Business card design and printing

Business card exchanging with potential customers is the best method for breaking the ice in a new business relationship.

When designing your card, all images are retouched and color balanced, text is always formatted correctly and legible using proper font styles and sizes. Company logos are always enhanced for optimum print quality .

When you have your business card  printed by Graphix by Franit  is an inexpensive way to develop a business relationship, experience our production process and establish some quality hi-resolution graphics. The first step is knowing how to begin.

It's easy to produce a professional-looking business card using whatever software tools you have on your computer. You can start from scratch in any layout program, including Microsoft Word, Publisher or PowerPoint as well as traditional graphics programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. You can also get a fast start by using programs such as Publisher or you can even download templates free online

Size and Setup

The standard dimensions for a printed business card are 3.5 x 2 inches. That's the finished card size.

Many printed designs include bleed. The "bleed area" is an extra 1/8 inch of space for design elements or backgrounds that extend beyond the finished size of your piece. A business card design with bleed is printed slightly oversized and then cut down to size, giving the appearance that the printing "bleeds" off the edge of the card, rather than having white borders. Do Not Put A Black …
A standard business card is 3.5×2”. Do not put a black box on your artwork to show the edge of your card.  Size it large enough to make room for crop marks and bleed. This gray area is the size of your finished business card.

Make Your Business Cards Work For You

Begin by remembering that the size of the photograph, when printed on  the business card, will be thumbnailsize in order to fit pleasingly on the card.
